ANALISIS TINGKAT KESEHATAN BANK MENGGUNAKAN METODE RGEC PADA PT BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK TAHUN 2018-2023
Abstract
This research aims to determine the health level of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia from 2018 to 2023 as measured using the Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings and Capital (RGEC) method. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that during the period 2018-2023, each aspect of the RGEC method, namely Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital, the composite financial performance score of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia fell into the healthy category as it met the ratio thresholds set by regulators, including Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). In terms of the Risk Profile factor, using two indicators, NPL was in the very healthy category, while LDR was in the less healthy category. The Good Corporate Governance (GCG) factor, using the GCG self-assessment composite score, placed PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia in the healthy category. The Earnings factor, using ROA and BOPO indicators, and the Capital factor, using the CAR indicator during the 2018-2023 period, were in the very healthy category. Although the LDR ratio was above the average LDR threshold for banks from 2018 to 2023, this high LDR ratio was offset by the low credit risk indicated by the low NPL value and the high amount of capital indicated by the high CAR value.
