Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan bangunan komersil yang menggabungkan swalayan (kelontong) dan <em>barbershop</em> dengan menerapkan gaya arsitektur industrial di Samarinda. Gaya arsitektur industrial dipilih untuk menciptakan desain yang unik, fungsional, dan estetis. Konsep ini melibatkan penggunaan material kasar seperti besi, beton, dan kaca yang mempertegas identitas industri. Studi ini menggali karakteristik lokasi di Samarinda dan kebutuhan pengguna untuk merancang bangunan yang dapat memenuhi persyaratan fungsional, estetika, dan kenyamanan. Metode perencanaan yang digunakan mencakup survei lokasi, analisis kebutuhan pengguna, dan perancangan konsep bangunan. Hasilnya adalah rancangan bangunan komersil yang memadukan area swalayan dengan <em>barbershop</em>, memberikan pengalaman berbelanja yang menyenangkan dan layanan <em>grooming</em> yang nyaman dalam satu kesatuan bangunan. Implementasi gaya arsitektur industrial diharapkan dapat menciptakan identitas visual yang kuat dan memikat. Politeknik ini mengusung konsep "Mekaring Adiguna Gemilang," yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan suatu bangunan pendidikan yang penggunannya memiliki pengetahuan dalam keterampilan dan keahlian ilmu untuk mencapai kesuksesan, serta belajar untuk berani dalam menghadapi era revolusi baru, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan inovatif dengan pendekatan arsitektur Neo-Vernakular. Lokasi yang terpilih berada di Desa Bulanan, Mojosari, dipilih karena aksesibilitas strategis dan dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai. Desain tapak mengoptimalkan orientasi terhadap cahaya, efisiensi ruang, dan pemisahan aktivitas pengguna. Massa bangunan mengintegrasikan elemen arsitektur tradisional, seperti atap limasan dan teritisan panjang, untuk kenyamanan termal dan penghematan energi. Pengenalan Pancasila perlu dilakukan sejak dini sebagai dasar pembentukan karakter. Tantangan dalam mengenalkan Pancasila kepada anak anak antara lain minimnya metode edukasi yang inovatif dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Salah satu bentuk media adalah alat peraga edukasi dalam bentuk permainan. Karena sasarannya adalah anak usia dini, yang sebagian besar aktifitasnya diisi dengan bermain. Sehingga sambil bermain, bisa sambil belajar. Permainan yang digunakan dalam bentuk labirin, anak anak akan mencocokkan bunyi sila dan gambar sila dalam jalur labirinnya. Dalam mendesain produk ini menggunakan proses desain dari V-Noed Goel. Dengan langkah langkah dimulai preliminary desain untuk mendata kebutuhan, proses desain berupa langkah langkah dalam mendesain, dan desain akhir berupa wujud hasil akhir yang diwujudkan dalam produk jadi. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah alat peraga pengenalan Pancasila untuk anak anak dengan sistem labirin. Modern tropical architecture is a relevant approach for designing restaurants and boutiques, emphasizing energy efficiency and thermal comfort. This study analyzes the façade elements of a restaurant and boutique in Samarinda using a qualitative descriptive method through field observations and theoretical studies. The façade design of LA Restaurant and Boutique in Samarinda incorporates modern tropical elements such as sloped roofs, canopies, wooden and vegetative secondary skins, and large glass openings to optimize natural lighting and cross ventilation. Semi-outdoor spaces with rooftop gardens and climbing vegetation enhance thermal comfort and the building’s aesthetic appeal. Sebagai pemilik, penting untuk memperhatikan kenyamanan dan kesejahteraan anjing, terutama dengan ketakutan mereka terhadap suara keras. Anjing memiliki indra pendengaran yang sangat tajam, sehingga mereka lebih sensitif terhadap suara tertentu, seperti petir atau kembang api, yang dapat menyebabkan stres dan kecemasan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana mengurangi dampak suara keras yang dapat mengancam kenyamanan anjing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis suara yang paling menakutkan bagi anjing dan merancang solusi yang efektif untuk meredamnya. Metode yang digunakan yang pertama adalah mengumpulkan data yang dilakukan dengan survei. Setelah mengumpulkan data, dilakukan observasi untuk mendukung data. Setelah observasi, analisa data dilakukan untuk menyimpulkan hasil dari survei dan observasi. Dari hasil kesimpulan, kemudian dirumuskan poin-poin solusi yang kemudian dikerucutkan menjadi satu kesimpulan solusi produk. Selanjutnya tahap terakhir dalam metodologi adalah desain rancangan dari solusi tersebut. So far, the use of pineapple plants has only been limited to the fruit, while pineapple leaf fiber has not been used relatively much. This research aims to produce a design for a set of feysen accessory products by utilizing pineapple leaf fiber waste. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely through material experiments which are then analyzed in more depth. At the data collection stage through literature (previous research journals), research was conducted on pineapple leaf fiber, consumer characteristics, and the potential use of pineapple leaf fiber as raw material for making fashion accessory products, as well as finding out the character and lifestyle of targeted consumers. Then proceed to the prototyping stage to find out the final product physically. Overall, this research shows that pineapple leaf fiber can be a good alternative material for fashion accessory products. From playing directly and socializing with friends, to playing through gadgets. This makes children gradually lose their skills in socializing and playing with their friends. Dam-daman is a traditional game that has begun to be less known in the community. Researchers revitalized the game of checkers as a form of play that motivates children to play outside and socialize. The research was conducted by implementing the ATUMICS method. The transformation of the checkers game tradition is carried out by identifying using the ATUMICS table. Thus, the design of checkers games in public spaces is produced that allows children to interact and can motivate other visitors to public spaces, not only children. Its ergonomic design allows users to move freely while carrying essential items. Sling bags are popular among students and professionals due to their practicality. Although used by both men and women, sling bags are more often associated with women due to their diverse designs, specialized functionalities, and role in women's fashion styles. The popularity of sling bags continues to rise, driving innovation in aesthetics and material sustainability. In the context of global sustainability, bamboo emerges as a promising eco-friendly alternative. The lightweight, strong, and natural aesthetic properties of bamboo, combined with lamination technology, enable the development of innovative and sustainable fashion products. This research aims to develop an innovative sling bag design by combining fabric and laminated bamboo, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Bench is furniture that is usually used only as a seat, in an era of high interest in multifunctional furniture and design trends that continue to grow, one of which is the Japandi style, a study was conducted that aims to create multifunctional Japandi furniture that combines Japanese minimalist aesthetics and Scandinavian practicality, so that it can optimize limited residential space. This study examines the elements of Japandi design which include the use of natural materials, neutral color palettes, and simple shapes. The multifunctional bench that was designed not only functions as a seat, but is also equipped with storage facilities to increase functionality without sacrificing aesthetic value. The research method uses a quantitative approach by involving respondents in filling out questionnaires, and using the design thinking design method which in its stages starts from empathize, define, ideate, prototype to test. This research is motivated by the discrepancy between the Willingness to pay of consumers with the design and price of previously designed products. The findings from the previous design were to create a cellphone sling bag with a more varied design and use safer covers and materials. The method used in this design is the design thinking method, which begins with the empathize process and ends with the test process. At the end of the study, the output was produced in the form of a Prototype, namely a Sling Bag which was tested on the target market through an exhibition in the city of Bandung. Most of the research was conducted at PT. Matahati Kreasi Nusantara, Bandung, West Java, and was carried out for approximately 4 months. The novelty of this research is the use of corn cob material as the raw material for bags with an elegant image.
