Abstract

Settlements are one source of contributors to the increasing amount of dry waste, at this time in cleaning the environment where there is dry waste is done by sweeping so that it requires quite a lot of human power, to reduce the power of humans, a vacuum cleaner machine and dry waste are made using a gasoline motor. . The vacuum cleaner and dry waste are made by welding the frame and garbage collection, then assembling the centrifugal blower and gasoline motor, then making a pipeline from the centrifugal blower to the garbage collection point. So from the torque and power calculation data obtained P = 4.10 Kw, Torque = 1109.27 Kg/mm. In this design the shaft used in the machine made from S30C with a diameter of 20 mm and a rotation of 3600 Rpm. In the design of the bearing used is the 05ZZ ball bearing. With a bearing life of 18330 hours, if used for 8 hours per day, the bearing can last 6 years. In centrifugal blowers and pipelines there are calculation data for discharge, cross-sectional area, flow velocity, friction losses in straight pipes and in elbow joints, where Q= 0.0091m3, A= 0.08 m2, V= 0.1138 m/s, major Hf = 0.000112 m, minor Hf = 0.057 m
