Large amounts of coffee grounds and PP plastic waste can pollute the environment if not handled properly. One solution to overcome this is to reuse them into new materials in the form of biocomposites for the manufacture of more environmentally friendly furniture. This study aims to examine the potential of furniture made from coffee grounds and PP plastic waste, which is strong and has attractive aesthetic value, so that it can change the perception of the wider community in a more positive direction and be accepted by the market. The research methods used are literature studies, field surveys, and interviews with a qualitative approach, which review the results of previous studies related to material processing, material strength results, and aesthetic aspects of the material. The results of the study are expected to provide recommendations for furniture designs from coffee grounds and PP plastic waste biocomposites supporting sustainable design. This research is expected to enrich the literature on sustainable-based product design and provide practical references for the development of innovative furniture in the future.
